Reflection

General Description

Because of the fast-pace of work nowadays, team members do not have time to stop and think about the impact or learnings they got after an activity or project. Things happen so fast that people do not take time for themselves.

Besides, remote work can drain people's energy by having several meetings and activities without bonding spaces between coworkers. For that reason,  personal reflective activities should be a common practice in every team. It is also the key to pushing members forward and letting them grow.

Level: intermediate

Steps

Individual activity. Each member will handwrite her or his thoughts after a project, exercise, or period (for example, the quarantine).

We recommend saving the final document.

Bonus:

- Find a quiet place at home/office.

- Consider having reflective music.

Step 1

Each member will have between 15 to 30 minutes.

For the reflection consider answering the following questions, and do not forget to speak from the "I":

- Biggest learning of this situation.
- How did it make me feel?
- How can I apply this experience to the next situation?

Step 2

We recommend to safe the paper and come back to it when you need it.
